Sedation Dentistry

BOOK APPOINTMENTPATIENT FORMS

We love taking care of your little ones. When performing a dental procedure it is possible that we sedate your child in order to relieve the fear or stress that they might feel during their treatment. In our office, we strive to make your child feel comfortable to ensure their safety at all times.

Under sedation, your child will be able to breathe and respond to verbal commands and any questions you ask. Every patient is different, and some may respond to sedation differently than others. We monitor your child, including all vital signs before, during and after the entire procedure.

We want to give your children our care, knowledge and years of experience to ensure that your child’s sedation experience is pleasant.

What Our Sedation Dentistry Includes

We believe that sedation is necessary to perform difficult dental procedures and our number one goal is to make your child comfortable, calm and reassured throughout the entire experience.

What we administer as Sedation Dentistry:

Oral Sedation

R

IV Sedation in the Office

Oral Sedation

The sedation is given to your child though the safest of measures. We prescribe the sedation medicine orally using the smallest and most efficient dose.

The medicine is dispensed in our office, which allows our trained staff to monitor your child continually throughout the dental procedure. We evaluate and choose the correct sedation medicine according to the age of the child and the procedure and treatment necessary.

IV Sedation

IV sedation is administered from a licensed anesthesiologist that cooperates with our office. All IV Sedation appointments must be made and scheduled on Mondays. Mondays are the day when Dr. Febres closes the office for regular patients so she can dedicate her attention and time to the IV cases only.
